A Show Like No Other

The Sopranos Painting by Geo Thomson | Pixels

David Chase changed the world of TV forever when, in the 1990s, he created arguably the most influential show ever in The Sopranos. It’s legacy endures long after the controversial final episode divided audiences across the world. It still sparks conversation, debate and is endlessly analysed to this day, with devoted fans who will continually try to persuade the shows charms onto those yet to experience it’s brilliance.

The Sopranos, of course, is set against the backdrop of organised crime and delves deep into this world as you would expect. This is, however, merely the vehicle in which the viewer is driven. The constant juxtaposition between what is right, what is wrong, and where the line is drawn is where the show shows it true genius.
